Established as a new unitary authority in April 2009, the team at Cheshire West and Chester Council has worked apace in driving forward a fresh and energetic approach to providing top quality services for its many customers and communities. We are the fourth largest unitary authority in the North West and have been developing a powerful strategic voice in the region and nationally. We are working hard to drive forward initiatives that will make a real difference to our residents. People are our focus.
We have been building on the strong foundations and good work that has already been achieved by the district councils and county council and from this base delivering a step change in performance and service delivery that will be appreciated by our residents, businesses and partners. High quality, customer-focus, innovation, efficiency and effective service delivery are becoming our watchwords.
